Say NO to Stoke

Labour have launched a controversial plan that could see Stoke-on-Trent merged with the Staffordshire Moorlands in a bid to create a new super council across North Staffordshire without any consultation of local residents.

This is despite continued bankruptcy fears in Stoke, where the Government had to intervene with a £42.2 million bailout package last year to stop Stoke going bankrupt.

A merger would leave Moorlands residents on the hook for future costs and would place the unique identity and heritage of our towns and villages at risk.
